Customer Relationship Management Training for Water Aid PHD developed curriculum outline and module on Customer Relationship Management Training, and conducted a two days ToT on Customer Relationship Management for Dhaka WASA staff under the project funded by Water Aid. Total 40 Master Trainers were developed and used

 

Develop PRA Tools and Training Module on Women Empowerment and Community Social Workers Capacity Building PHD is currently doing a consultancy with ILO supported Work In Freedom (WIF-2) project funded by UK Aid. The main objectives of this assignment are to develop PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) tools and training modules on women empowerment and community social workers capacity building following a detail needs assessment process and finally will provide ToTs to partner staff of OKUP, KN and BNPS. The developed PRA tools and training modules will be used to facilitate women empowerment training, door to door orientation as well as engaging social workers in women empowerment activities in a sustainable manner. PHD has completed the need assessment covering a total 18 different fields, currently developing the modules and PRA tools.
Resilience Building for ChSW and CABA for Chetona Project of Save the Children PHD developed curriculum outline and module on Resilience Building Training for ChSW and CABA, and conducted a six days ToT on Resilience Building for ChSW and CABA to develop a master trainers’ pool involving USAID funded Chetona partner staffs.  Total 18 Master Trainers were developed, and used in implementation of the training program

 

Basic Training for Friendship Community Medic-aid PHD developed 28 members of Master Trainers Team in the Rural Health Program (RHP) of Friendship through a five days ToT, so that they could facilitate the basic training for Friendship Community Medic-aids

 

Designing and facilitation of training program under Jibon-O-Jibika Program of Save the Children PHD organized a module development workshop with the senior staff members of Save the Children, USA, and designed i) Curriculum outlines, ii) Counseling Guidelines and Information Packages, and iii) Basic Training Module on Counseling & Facilitation Skill Development for Jibon-O-Jibika program. Later on, PHD organized Basic Training on Counseling & Facilitation Skill Development for 2920 health staff and community volunteers in Patuakhali and Barishal Districts

 

Designing and facilitation of training program for Community Mobilization Component of Access Project PHD provided capacity building support to Access Project in developing i) Steps of Community Action Cycle, ii) Mobilization Materials and Information Packages, iii) Basic Training Module on Community Mobilization and iv) Training of Trainers (TOT) Module on Community Mobilization. PHD also developed the Master Trainers for conduction of Basic Training and Refreshers

 

Localization of UCARE Curriculum to Educate Youth for Safe and Democratic Societies” for Obirodh project of MSI PHD is working on localization of International curriculum outline and module on Youth Leadership, and conducted three days Module Localization workshop with 10 partner staffs of MSI funded Obirodh project for developing a Master Trainers Pool. Objective of the intervention is to localize internationally developed curriculum in Bangladeshi context for targeted youth and equipped training staff of the implementing NGOs to increase resilience and decrease susceptibility violent extremism and radicalization of the youth so that they could response positively to social wellbeing and social response. PHD team reviewed the curriculum, developed identical document with necessary change proposal, organized and facilitated three days Module review workshop where collected feedback from all 10 grantee organization staff and finally prepared the localized version of the curriculum incorporating all the necessary feedback and opinion.
